What we collect
When you call, email, message us on WhatsApp or use our enquiry form, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, postal address or postcode, details and photos of your property and roof, and any other information you choose to give us.
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry, arrange an inspection and provide a quote (legitimate interests and steps before entering a contract)
- To carry out and invoice work you have asked for (contract)
- To meet legal, tax and insurance obligations (legal obligation)
- To keep the website secure and working (legitimate interests)
- To send occasional marketing emails, only if you have opted in (consent)
Marketing and opting out
We only send marketing emails if you have opted in. To stop marketing emails at any time, email hello@stneots.roofixsolutions.com with 'Unsubscribe' or use the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
Sharing
We do not sell your information. We only share it with people who help us run the business, such as our accountants, IT, email and hosting providers and insurers, or where the law requires it.
Third-party content on this site
Our enquiry form is provided by Tradify (tradehq.co.uk), the job management system we use; what you type into it goes straight to Tradify and is handled under its own privacy policy as well as this one. This site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the fonts load. WhatsApp links open WhatsApp, which is run by WhatsApp Ireland Limited under its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. If you become a customer, we keep job records and invoices for six years after the end of the tax year they relate to, to meet HMRC requirements.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct or delete your information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to data portability. To make a request, email hello@stneots.roofixsolutions.com.
